Sketchbook Illustrations

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I dedicated my downtime to sketching and illustrating, something I’ve always wanted to get more into but never had the time. Now, it’s become a comfortable part of my daily routine. I incorporate the skills and experience I’ve learned from being a designer into my illustrations, which gives it a distinct stylistic edge. I hope to continue and create some amazing traditional art with the extra time that I have.

Inktober 2022

Inktober is a yearly event that spans the entire month of October. The goal is to take a prompt list - usually using the official Inktober prompt list - and draw using the given prompt every day. The original idea was only to use ink, but it has since expanded to include any type of media, and can be changed to fit the individual artist’s schedule. I have chosen the prompt list Botanical, by Twitter user CheeseWizardArt, as my prompt list this year. I used ShinHan Touch alcohol markers and Copic liner pens as my chosen utensils.
